Following on the trailer show with the New Orleans Pelicans' Zion Williamson which was shown 2K dropped another video featuring the Philadelphia 76ers' Ben Simmons, though it didn't have any match footage included. On Monday, specific packages began to be sent to select NBA 2K21 influencers, and notable YouTuber Troydan chose to share his unboxing.

Release Date Info

One can assume that's unconfirmed, although that this date will stand for Nintendo Switch variants and the PC. This eliminates the prospect of a delay and the suspension of the NBA season. With the match releasing in September, it's more likely we'll be seeing something that works more like NBA 2K20.5 believing we won't know which rookies will be at the league because the NBA Draft is not set to happen before October. There would likely be a massive roster update soon following the draft. However, upon release, the roster will appear more as an end-of-season set. We still don't know the answer to that question because the release date for the"next level" NBA 2K21 is recorded as Holiday 2020, which is the exact same non-specific detail given to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox collection X. All we know is that it will be available until the end of the year, although there is some wiggle room. But if you take into account that the 2020-21 NBA season is set to start on December 1, then it makes sense to expect NBA 2K21 on next-gen to be available some time in November because 2K generally releases their new game weeks ahead of the start of the new season.

The Neighborhood Is Going to Be Renamed

There were several attributes hinted at on the card Troydan but most were censored to make out. It was obvious to see The Neighborhood will be renamed. Seems likely, although we don't know precisely what it will be called. The City, The World, The State? All of it is an opportunity. We will probably learn by following month.

It appears 2K is setting up pick influencers with PlayStation 5 they could preview NBA 2K21. This will be a significant deal because it will induce many 2K players to Sony's console. It will also help to allow for numerous previews of the game before discharge, in accordance with embargoes.
