NBA 2K23: The 5 Best Power Forwards In The Game

Nov-16-2022 PST

NBA fans are currently picking NBA 2K23 to solve their basketball problems. The power forward position in the NBA is currently in an odd position, as many of the top players come in different sizes and skills. Kevin Durant and Anthony Davis are two very different players, but they both happen to play in the same position. Whether they're lanky scorers or big players like Zion Williamson, the league is home to some power forwards.

1. Giannis Antetokounmpo (97)

Most fans would consider Giannis Antetokounmpo, known as the Greek Freak, to be the best basketball player in the world today. He's a well-rounded player who can play on both sides of the ball, earning an NBA championship in return for his loyalty to the Milwaukee Bucks. His 97 overall is the highest in NBA 2K23, regardless of position, and won by a great athlete, he's also shown that he's an incredible person too.

Antetokounmpo is currently at its peak, and it is unclear how long Antetokounmpo will remain at the summit.

2. Kevin Durant (96)

Throughout his career, Kevin Durant has felt like a created player in NBA 2K. A guy who's nearly 7 feet tall and has the ability to score at all three levels feels like a cheat code. Injuries have caught up with Durant in recent years, but when he's on the court, it's hard to deny that he can single-handedly affect the outcome of a game.

Durant said on social media that he was a little disappointed with his 96 overall rating in NBA 2K23, he is still one of the highest-rated players in the game, but the greats always find ways to put chips on their shoulders.

3. Jayson Tatum (93)

Jayson Tatum has had an impressive year with a lot of highs and lows. Sure, he led the Boston Celtics to the NBA Finals, but it's clear that Tatum's lack of playoff experience affected the most important game of his career.

He's still young, and the Celtics are brimming with young talent, making last season the first season in which an East team in the NBA playoffs could go deep on multiple occasions. Tatum averaged 27 points, 8 rebounds and 4.5 assists last season, and according to his career records, the 93rd-ranked power forward in NBA 2K23 will improve entering this season.

4. Anthony Davis (90)

Injuries have plagued the talented big man Anthony Davis. Of course, he managed to help LeBron James bring the NBA championship back to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Davis only played 40 games last season, so if the Lakers want to return to the NBA playoffs and become a contender, they'll need the power forward on the floor. Thankfully, fans can shut down injuries in NBA 2K23 and let them make the most of this dreaded brow.

5. Pascal Siakam (88)

The Toronto Raptors are focused on building a versatile forward lineup, so it's no surprise that they have two players near the top of the list in NBA 2K23. The young Scotty Barnes was discussed earlier, but it's time to turn the attention to the talented veteran Pascal Siakam.

Despite being at the center of trade discussions in the 2022 NBA offseason, Siakam remains in Toronto and the team hopes his 88 points will help them compete in the NBA Eastern Conference. The six-year professional has successfully filled out his resume which includes the Most Improved Player award, an NBA championship, an All-Star team and two All-NBA teams.
